GE 套件可將 GE Intelligent Platforms 裝置的 OPC 資料存取功能提供給 OPC 用戶端應用程式，包括 HMI、SCADA、歷史資料庫（Historian）、MES、ERP 以及各類自訂應用程式。
Kepware 讓使用者能快速且可靠地設定與 GE Intelligent Platforms PLC 與 PAC 的連線。
GE 套件僅需一組授權，即可存取多種 GE Intelligent Platforms 網路，並支援多種通訊協議網路，包括 GE Intelligent Platforms（GE Fanuc）SRTP Ethernet、SNP 串列、CCM 以及 EGD。

GE Intelligent Platforms（GE Fanuc）將 Kepware 視為其首選的通訊公司與 OPC 伺服器供應商。
