PTC要求購買Kepware產品須提供最終客戶資料全文

PTC now requires End User information when purchasing Kepware products

Safety & Security is very important to PTC and to the ecosystems we serve. As we see greater convergence of physical and digital systems, we all carry a shared responsibility to develop and maintain more secure, defensible, and resilient systems.

PTC is committed to doing our part through robust security programs and initiatives.

The security threat landscape for today’s smart factories and machines is continuously expanding and evolving. As industrial enterprises become more connected, security issues are no longer purely an Information Technology (IT) problem; they can directly impact machines and physical business operations.

PTC proactively reports critical Kepware product security updates and new security vulnerabilities to the Kepware Product End Users.

Beginning 23 February 2023, PTC is requiring End User information when purchasing or subscribing on Kepware products, and on renewal or recapture Perpetual Support Agreements.

End Users can be defined as an individual or company that deploy and use licensed Kepware products in runtime. The End User is not always the buyer, we will require that End User details are provided via the supply chain. Meaning that End User details are required when you as a PTC Partner Reseller, System Integrator, Solution Provider or Software/Hardware OEM are purchasing or subscribing on Kepware Products, or renew Support & Maintenance Agreements at PTC.

Required End User Information:

Company Name (full legal company name) Company Address (street name, city, zip code and country) Company contact (First name, last name and email address) PTC handles collected personal data according to these PTC policies and Terms & Conditions that also cover applicable laws like GDPR, CCPA, LGDP etc.
